Prompt Assembly Tool

Build your prompt
Follow the steps to assemble a well-structured AI prompt. Your result updates live below.
Step 1 — Let's start by selecting a base prompt
We have assembled a library of prompts. Start by selecting one. First click on a category: Are you a student? Or a journalist? Then browse the drop-down menu and choose a task to start.
💡 Welcome! This tool guides you through building a high-quality AI prompt step by step. Each section adds a layer — by the end, you'll have a complete, copyable prompt ready to paste into any AI tool.

Loading a seed prompt fills in the fields for you. You can edit everything afterwards.

If you want to draft your own task, select the one that's closest and then edit it in the text boxes in the next steps. You can save it to the library in Step 7.

Step 2 — Role & Context
Tell the AI who it should be and what situation you're working in. This shapes the entire response.
⚠ Please enter a role before continuing.
0 characters · Aim for 50–300 for good results
Step 3 — Task & Parameters
It's important to let the AI model know exactly what you want to do — by telling it information such as how long it should be, what output format you want, and what kind of tone it should take in the writing.
⚠ Please describe the task before continuing.
Length — select one of these lengths, or leave unchecked if the length is already determined by the format you've set
Step 4 — Style
Set the format, tone, and audience level for your prompt. These apply on top of any style instructions already in your seed prompt — you can use these controls to override or simplify them.

ℹ️ Some seed prompts already include style or format instructions in their text. You can leave those as-is, or use the checkboxes above to override them with simpler options.

Step 5 — Text & Examples (optional)
It's important to tell the AI model what a good result looks like for your task. Paste text you want the AI to work on, provide style examples, flag things to avoid, and add few-shot output examples. All windows are optional unless marked as required by your seed prompt.

Showing the AI a good example of what you want is one of the most powerful prompting techniques. Leave blank to skip.

Step 5 — Modifiers that really make your prompt stand out
Modifiers change how the AI thinks and responds, not just what it does. They're the most underused part of prompting. Select modifiers from different categories and see how they improve the results. Tick the ones you want — you can select across multiple categories.
